About The Center
About Dreama:
To care for our orphaned sons and daughters in the State of Qatar, the Orphan Care Center “Dreama” was established in the year 2002, with the aim of contributing to providing the necessary care for this original group in society, ensuring their stability in alternative foster families, integrating them into society, and educating society about the importance of embrace. The center has been operating since 2013 under the umbrella of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, which in turn is affiliated with the Ministry of Social Development and Family.
Qatar National Vision 2030 has identified four pillars, including human development, social development, economic development, and environmental development. The State of Qatar has achieved unprecedented successes as an emerging country in its vital areas related to meeting basic needs of health, education, clean water, safe health systems, and social protection for vulnerable segments of society. There was high interest in orphans who lacked support, and they are the most vulnerable group.
The Dreama Orphan Care Center is considered one of the civil society organizations that was established with the aim of supporting the state’s directions in achieving a state of sufficiency and well-being. Over the course of... years, the center has undergone multiple experiences in the field of institutional organization based on scientific and practical foundations that match the requirements of the special situation of the target group. Caring for the bereaved The bond extends from upbringing and care to identity and working to achieve human humanity, which is the basis for a healthy social fabric. Hence the importance of organizing this forum to provide insights based on science and lessons learned.
