Closing Ceremony of “Tamkeen Juniors”: A Strategic Partnership Between Dreama and Nama to Build a Conscious and Capable Generation
As part of ongoing partnerships and collaboration between social work centers, the Social Development Center “Nama” and the Orphans Care Center “Dreama” concluded the “Tamkeen Juniors” program with a closing ceremony celebrating its achievements in empowerment, skill development, and joint efforts to build a conscious and capable generation.
This program is the result of fruitful cooperation between two centers under the umbrella of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work. “Tamkeen Juniors” provided a distinguished educational and developmental space where participating children acquired specialized skills in creative thinking, marketing, financial management, communication, and leadership.
Designed with modern and innovative methods tailored to the children’s age groups and aspirations, the program offered a safe and stimulating environment that fostered self-confidence and teamwork. It included a diverse package of topics such as financial literacy, project management, idea and talent discovery, creativity stimulation, saving and investment, public speaking, marketing, persuasion, and project planning.
The ceremony was attended by prominent figures including:
H.E. Mr. Faisal Mohammed Al-Emadi, Secretary-General of Qatar Red Crescent
Mr. Khalid Ali Abdullah Al-Mawlawi, Acting Director General of Aspetar Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital
Mr. Rashid Mohammed Al-Nuaimi, Executive Director of the Behavioral Health Support Center (DAAM)

During the ceremony, Sheikha Najla bint Ahmed Al Thani, Executive Director of Dreama, emphasized that the program is a model of what strategic partnerships can achieve when built on a shared vision and clear humanitarian mission. She praised the efforts of the Nama team and their commitment to delivering a comprehensive educational experience that enhances children’s capabilities. She also acknowledged the role of parents in supporting this journey.
She welcomed the attendees and highlighted that “Tamkeen Juniors” is one of the most impactful empowerment initiatives launched by Dreama and Nama, marking a milestone in building a generation that is aware, independent, and confident in shaping its future.
“At Dreama, we believe that empowerment doesn’t begin at university age or beyond—it starts in childhood, from the moment we give our children space to express, think, and take initiative,” she said. “This idea led to the creation of the program, offering an innovative educational experience.”
She added that the project could only succeed through a true partner who shares the vision and mission, which they found in Nama—a committed, responsive, and professional team that worked side by side with high responsibility and flexibility.
Throughout the program, children gained advanced skills in critical thinking, social marketing, teamwork, leadership, and public speaking through well-designed curricula and intensive interactive sessions. “Today, we’re not just celebrating the end of a program—we’re celebrating a deep transformation in our children’s thinking and behavior, and the birth of replicable empowerment models for the future.”
She concluded by expressing gratitude to Nama for their professional collaboration and to all supervisors, trainers, and support teams who contributed to the program’s success. “At Dreama, we promise that such initiatives will continue and become a core part of our future vision.”
From Nama’s side, Mr.Ghanim bin Salah Al-Ali Al-Maadeed, Executive Director of Nama, stated:
“We celebrate today with our partners at Dreama the conclusion of Tamkeen Juniors—a six-month journey full of learning and experience, and a pioneering model of constructive cooperation between our national institutions.”
“This program embodied a clear vision focused on investing in people from their early years, instilling values of leadership, teamwork, creative thinking, and sound planning—essential components for building a generation capable of leading the future with confidence.”
“At Nama, we believe that investing in this early age group is not optional—it is a national and ethical duty, fully aligned with Qatar National Vision 2030 and our third national strategy, which places human development at its core.”
He extended heartfelt thanks to Dreama, all staff and supervisors, and the participating children who were the heart of this journey and the hope of the future.
He also announced that Nama is preparing a new training program soon to develop life skills and capabilities for Dreama’s children.
“We pray that our joint efforts are blessed and that our children become leaders who carry the nation’s banner and contribute to Qatar’s progress and prosperity.”
The ceremony also included a speech by Dreama’s children, expressing their joy at participating in the program. They shared how they learned teamwork, leadership, responsibility, and listening to others. They participated in practical training programs that taught them time management, problem-solving, effective communication, saving, and investment. Most importantly, they discovered their abilities and how to develop them to serve their community.
They thanked the organizers and their peers for making the experience both fun and beneficial, and expressed their hope to continue applying what they learned in their lives and studies.
