Dreama participated in the Regional Conference on Alternative Care in Egypt
The Dreama Orphan Care Center participated in the Regional Conference on Alternative Care held in Cairo, the Arab Republic of Egypt. This participation comes within the framework of
* Exchanging experiences in the field of children.
* Benefiting from international and scientific experiences in this field
* Presenting new experiences in the field of dealing with children and ensuring the acquisition of new experiences in this field
* Introducing the center internationally and exchanging beneficial relationships for the center
The conference was held under the title "The Role of Sustainable Development Goals in Protecting and Empowering Those Without Parental Care", and was organized by the Sand Association for Alternative Parental Care in coordination with partner civil society organizations and some international organizations working in the field of alternative care, under the patronage of Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity, and Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, with the participation of Sheikha Najla bint Ahmed Al Thani, Executive Director of the Dreama Orphan Care Center, who had a prominent presence in the conference sessions and activities.
The conference discussed the importance of alternative families in providing a safe and stable environment for children who lack family care and reviewed the latest successful practices and experiences in this field, within the framework of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals 2030, which focus on ensuring a sustainable future for children who lack care by providing a supportive environment that provides them with opportunities for growth and empowerment.
During the conference, Sheikha Najla bint Ahmed Al Thani delivered a working paper in which she discussed the importance of the role of alternative families in enhancing the psychological and social stability of children and providing a nurturing family environment that contributes to building their future in a positive and sustainable way.
In this context, Sheikha Najla bint Ahmed Al Thani stressed:
"Alternative care is not limited to providing living services only, but includes building an integrated life for children, giving them love, support and security to be active members of society. At Dreama Orphan Care Center, we believe that alternative families are the main pillar for achieving this, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals 2030 to ensure a more stable future for future generations."
