Dreama receives the Association of Wives of Ambassadors of African Countries in Qatar
We open our doors to partnerships with the Association of Wives of Ambassadors of African Countries. The Orphan Care Center received the dream of the Association of Wives of Ambassadors of African Countries in Qatar, which included the wife of the Ambassador of the Republic of Mali, the wife of the Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa, the wife of the Ambassador of the Republic of Djibouti, and the wife of the Ambassador of the Republic of Niger. The visiting delegation was briefed on the cultural, artistic and media empowerment experience that the center conducts for its children, which is a unique and distinct experience of its kind in the region. The Association of Wives of Ambassadors of African Countries to Doha chose to visit the Dreama Center as it is one of the best orphan care centers in the Middle East. He briefed us on Dreama’s plans in all fields and the methods of care and services provided to children. The Center seeks to enhance development work in the field of children’s rights, in line with sustainable development plans set by the United Nations. Mrs. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al-Misnad - Executive Director of the Orphan Care and Empowerment Center, Dreama - expressed her overwhelming happiness following the joint cooperation with the Association of African Ambassadors’ Wives in Qatar, explaining her aspirations to launch a new phase for the center that will be more open to the international community, the diplomatic corps, and humanitarian work organizations. And developmental. She also expressed her thanks to the wives of the ambassadors of African countries in Qatar for their participation in the volunteer teams in Dreama and organizing periodic visits to orphans, and their contribution to promoting the integration of abandoned children and orphans into society and empowering them cognitively, culturally and athletically. Al-Misnad said: I am pleased to see the large gathering of diplomatic figures today who have come together. We have one humanitarian goal, which is to advocate for the rights of orphaned children. Humanitarian issues always require concerted international and local efforts in order to improve human living conditions. The Dreama Center now bears full responsibility for the development goals of the United Nations, including raising the state of international coordination and cooperation in the field of childhood. She added that the center's vision has become more open to achieving social and humanitarian coordination between Dreama and the heads of diplomatic missions in Qatar to serve the interests of the children. She emphasized the role of effective international partnerships in exchanging experiences, and the solidarity of civil society organizations at the local and international levels to achieve sustainable development goals. Al-Misnad stressed the need to focus on areas of development related to children’s rights, noting the center’s role in promoting societal integration and empowerment for the children of Dreama, raising awareness of societal responsibility towards this important segment of society, and working to combat the societal stigma that may accompany orphaned children of unknown parentage. At the conclusion of the visit, the Association of Wives of Ambassadors of African Countries in Qatar expressed their thanks and appreciation to the management of the Dreama Center, represented by Mrs. Maryam Bint Ali Al-Misnad, Executive Director, for the good reception and providing comprehensive information about the vital role that Dreama plays in providing high-quality services to its children in Qatar and working to Empowering them and integrating them into society, in addition to working to enhance the professional and life capabilities of orphan children in accordance with international standards in preparation for their integration into society and empowerment in all fields. They also expressed their hope to consolidate cooperation with the center in the near future.
