The Orphan Care Center “Dreama” organized a nursery license program for custodial mothers, which it launched in 2018, with the aim of providing training and awareness workshops to families custodial for children. An integrated program was also prepared that included many training workshops, through which custodial mothers were trained on how to inform the child of his social status and how to These families were then followed up when their foster children were notified in a good and correct scientific manner and the progress and procedures of the reporting process and followed up on not recording any cases that suffered psychological trauma as a result of informing the child of his status, and then they were honored and given a nursery license certificate. In this context, the Acting Executive Director of the Dreama Orphan Care Center, Mrs. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al-Misnad, stated that the nursery license program comes within the framework of the strategy and vision of the Dreama Orphan Care Center to provide workshops and courses for foster families and introduce the concept of foster care in its familial and societal dimension. These courses focus largely on the psychological and social aspects of the foster child, provided by a group of trainers and experts in the psychological, social, educational and behavioral aspects. We targeted the foster families, and these courses ended with them obtaining a nursery license and honoring them. Al-Misnad indicated that the center plays a major role in providing family support and continuous follow-up for the group of orphaned children, after being embraced by families, adding that Dreama launched this program out of its belief in the importance of integrating these children as a social principle and in the positive role that the foster and extended family plays in the upbringing and upbringing of the foster child and his stability and well-being. We also seek, through holding this program and other similar events, to enhance societal integration and empowerment for the children of Dreama, raise awareness of societal responsibility towards this important segment of society, and work to enhance society’s view of the orphan child, that he and his peers are the future, hope and strength, and they are an important tributary in the society. A group of foster mothers praised the center’s efforts and the positive role it plays in promoting the foster child and paying attention to the psychological, social and educational aspects. Behavioral and capacity development... I also commend the detailed program offered by the center through practical workshops and specialized courses on how to deal with the segment of foster children, while emphasizing the necessity of continuing training workshops and awareness lectures. It is worth noting that Dreama implemented a group of training workshops on the arts of dealing with foster children, crisis management, and other training workshops for foster mothers during this year, taking precautionary measures to prevent the Corona virus.
