Children of the Orphans Care Center – DREAMA celebrated Eid Al Fiter by answering an invitation from Ooredoo to attend the children's play "Asal Ya Watan" on the first day of Eid. The play was shown on the first day of Eid Al Fiter at the Qatar National Theatre. The play is inspired by the world of bees and honey, and the conflicts and relationships that are very similar and converge with human behaviour in various aspects such as giving, loyalty, fraternity and many values that are in line with the best human values. The play is performed for 50 minutes in (Play Back) style. The play is written by Abdel Rahim Siddiqui and Tayseer Abdullah, music composed by Talal Siddiqui, and directed and starring the artist Nasser Abdul Reda. Ooredoo announced that it will be the official sponsor of the children's play "Asal Ya Watan” by supporting this artwork and promoting it through the company's accounts on social media. Ooredoo’s Invitation As part of its Ramadan campaign, Ooredoo has provided 100 tickets to the Center's children to attend the play and spend the Eid in a fun and fruitful atmosphere. Mrs Manar Khalifa Al-Muraikhi, Director of Public Relations and Corporate Communications, said: "Ooredoo is keen to support Qatari talent and events in various fields, especially cultural ones. We believe in the importance of culture’s role in addressing the problems facing the community, raising awareness about them. We hope families will take their children to watch the play during Eid Al Fiter holiday and spend quality fun times”. Active Participation For his part, Mr Abdulla Al-Fadhala, Head - Implementation and Follow-up Unit of the Community Awareness Office at DREAMA said: “That the participation of DREAMA’s children in community activities of cultural and educational character is one of the most important means of integration in society”. Also, he stressed the importance of the existence of educational arts that carry the values of the society in which children live. “And that the attendance of DREAMA’s children during the Eid Al-Fiter is an appropriate opportunity to raise awareness of the social role to provide children of all groups with positive values and ideas, as well as the rights of children in health, education, family and the appropriate healthy environment”. Also, Mr Al-Fadhala stressed the partner's role from both the Public and Private sectors and thanked Ooredoo for its active support to raise awareness of orphans' rights as an important social group.
