Launch of Collaboration Between Dreama Orphan Care Center and Nama Social Development Center for the “Tamkeen Juniors” Program

February 24 – Doha – Dreama Orphan Care Center, in collaboration with Nama Social Development Center, has launched the “Tamkeen Juniors” program, which aims to teach children the fundamental skills of financial management and sound financial planning. This initiative equips them with the ability to make well-informed financial decisions, fostering their independence for the future. The program reflects a commitment to empowering children, enhancing their financial awareness, and developing their critical thinking, planning, independent decision-making, and teamwork skills.

The program targets children aged 6 to 10 years, providing them with an early opportunity to acquire financial management skills and strengthen their ability to plan their finances responsibly. This collaboration between Dreama and Nama marks a significant step toward equipping children with financial knowledge that enables them to build a sustainable financial future and enhances their ability to manage resources effectively.

Sheikha Najla bint Ahmed Al Thani, Executive Director of Dreama Orphan Care Center, emphasized the importance of this initiative, stating:

“We are proud to launch the ‘Tamkeen Juniors’ program in collaboration with Nama Social Development Center, which reflects our shared vision of empowering children with essential financial knowledge to ensure a more stable future. Building financial awareness from an early age is a long-term investment that enables children to make informed financial decisions and prepares them to face future challenges with confidence and awareness. The training program includes interactive workshops covering key areas such as financial planning concepts, smart money management, marketing and persuasion skills, and the fundamentals of independent financial decision-making. The program also aims to boost children’s self-confidence by training them in public speaking skills and responsible financial decision-making.

The launch of the “Tamkeen Juniors” program is part of Dreama’s vision, which focuses on sustaining its programs and enhancing their impact in preparing children for a more stable and independent future. The program seeks to provide practical skills that support long-term development, emphasizing hands-on learning and real-world experience to deepen children’s understanding of financial planning and management in a simplified and effective way.
