Dreama Concludes "Media Ambassadors" Program in Collaboration with Al Jazeera Media Institute

دريمة تختتم برنامج "سفراء دريمة للإعلام " بالتعاون مع معهد الجزيرة للإعلام

Dreama Orphan Care Center has concluded the "Media Ambassadors Dreama " program, held in partnership with Al Jazeera Media Institute. This initiative aimed to empower participating youth by strengthening their media skills, self-expression, communication, and content creation capabilities. The collaboration reflects both institutions’ shared commitment to preparing a confident generation capable of creating positive change in society.

Over the course of several months, participants took part in a series of specialized training workshops covering a wide range of topics, including Arabic language, self-confidence, youth broadcasting, artificial intelligence, voice and presentation techniques, and the fundamentals of media production.

A team of expert trainers from Al Jazeera Media Institute led the workshops, guiding the youth in developing key skills such as presenting, filming, and scriptwriting, while also introducing them to modern AI tools used in media.

The program struck a balance between theory and practice, offering participants hands-on experience through the production of visual reports, recorded interviews, podcast segments, and live on-camera presentations. This immersive approach resulted in creative media content produced entirely by the youth themselves, reflecting both their growth and the success of the partnership in achieving its educational and developmental goals.

Organizers from both Dreama and Al Jazeera Media Institute emphasized that the initiative aligns with their ongoing mission to provide high-quality learning opportunities that nurture young talent and equip them with the tools to express themselves and positively contribute to their communities.

The program concluded with a recognition ceremony, where participants showcased samples of their work and received certificates in a celebratory atmosphere that highlighted the pride both institutions take in the youth’s efforts and aspirations.

Dreama affirms that the "Media Ambassadors" program is part of its continued efforts to support and empower its youth. The collaboration with Al Jazeera Media Institute underscores a mutual dedication to investing in young potential and promoting media as a powerful tool for expression and constructive impact.

In a special address by Her Excellency Sheikha Najla bint Ahmed Al Thani, Executive Director of Dreama Orphan Care Center, delivered during the graduation ceremony:

It brings us great joy to celebrate with you an achievement we are all proud of: the graduation of a new cohort from Dreama’s “Media Ambassadors” program. This initiative offered our children a space to grow and express themselves, and an opportunity to discover their potential and refine their abilities in the fields of media and communication.

At Dreama, we believe that true empowerment begins with building confidence. Giving a child a voice is our way of saying: You are seen. You are heard. You matter. And when we provide an environment that nurtures talent and supports self-expression, we place the child on the path toward strength and independence.

The “Media Ambassadors” program was not just a technical training—it was a human experience that reflects our vision at Dreama: to raise a generation that believes in itself, possesses the tools to tell its story, and participates in society not as passive recipients, but as active contributors.

Our children were honored to undergo this experience within the halls of Al Jazeera Media Institute, a renowned media institution, where they received training from some of the best trainers and experts in the field. It was a rich and inspiring journey—one that will not be easily forgotten.

We watched them learn, speak, and express their thoughts and emotions with confidence and creativity. We saw them face the microphone and camera with determination, using media tools with a sense of purpose, clarity, and belief that their voices deserve to be heard and respected.

I extend my sincere gratitude to Al Jazeera Media Institute for opening its doors to support this noble partnership, and to every trainer who contributed to this success. I am also pleased to announce the continuation of this fruitful collaboration through future programs and initiatives, God willing, that will further support our children, expand opportunities for empowerment, and enable them to create meaningful content—in their own voices.

And of course, thanks to the Dreama team for their dedication and efforts.

Speech by the manager  of Planning and Projects – Media Ambassadors Graduation Ceremony at the Institute

A speech was also delivered on behalf of the graduates by Dreama’s Media Ambassador, who shared these words:

“When we started this journey, we were full of passion, enthusiasm, and a desire to express ourselves. But we were just at the beginning, searching for guidance and support to help us take confident steps forward. Throughout this program, so much has changed.

We learned that when a voice is sincere, it becomes powerful. That confidence isn’t given—it’s built, step by step. We learned how to express ourselves, how to speak to an audience, and how to carry a message we believe in and deliver it with clarity and courage.

This program didn’t just give us media skills—it gave us a real sense of empowerment. It made us believe that we can make an impact, and that we have a rightful place in this field.

I thank Dreama for believing in us, Al Jazeera Media Institute for welcoming us, and everyone who contributed to this enriching experience.

And most of all, I thank my fellow graduates for the beautiful spirit that accompanied us throughout this journey.”

It gives me great pleasure to represent Al Jazeera Media Institute at the conclusion of this program, which reflects one of the core aspects of our mission: empowering individuals and disseminating media knowledge with professionalism and independence—an approach that embodies the values of Al Jazeera Media Network in excellence and the advancement of humanity.

Our collaboration with Dreama Center stems from a strategic vision we highly prioritize—one that is grounded in providing real opportunities for learning media through practice, not rote instruction…

An experience that builds understanding—not merely skills.

What we have witnessed over the past period in terms of commitment, discipline, genuine interest, and eagerness to learn among the participants affirms the importance of such initiatives in discovering potential and paving early paths toward critical thinking and responsible expression.

We do not simply offer tools…

We teach how to use them responsibly.

We do not provide ready-made content…

We guide the way toward building content that reflects reality with awareness.

Distinguished guests…

On this occasion, I express my appreciation to every team member who contributed to the success of this program, to the parents who supported this initiative, and to our partners at Dreama Center for their efforts and organization.

To the participants in this program—our sons and daughters—I say:

You were true partners in an educational journey we are proud of…

You demonstrated early awareness of the tools of media and its role in understanding oneself and the world around you.

Distinguished guests…

At the Al Jazeera Media Institute, we continue to work on developing high-quality programs that enhance competence and open new horizons for everyone who believes that media is a tool for building humanity and society.

May peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.
